I was just there before sunset and didn't see any of the odd gulls mentioned, even Sabine's wasn't there. However, I (and Jay Lehman, Kathi Hutton, etc.) did see the Laughing Gull Juv. (photo obtained) while looking at the Juv. Sabine's on Monday morning. I only live about 10 mins from EF and it was pouring rain much of the day including when I was there with bad visibility. I get off work tomorrow at 1pm. I will be there. -- Don Morse Jr. New Richmond, OH http://donaldthebirder.blogspot.com - blog On Wed, Oct 19, 2011 at 7:33 PM, Paul Dubuc <[log in to unmask]> wrote: > Reporting from East Fork has also included both Franklin's and Laughing Gulls over the past week but never both in one report. The widely viewed juvenile bird was observed as well as a reported second bird- an ADULT- offshore from the same beach. This would be exceedingly rare (an adult) but surely possible.
