Ring-bills - 150+ (most on land near bay between launch and Dike 14) - less than 15 in air Canada Geese - 250+ (most on ground near RBs) less than a dozen in water Mallards - 6 Double-creasted Cormorants - 10-ish - mostly flying around 9:50 to west side of Inner City Yacht Club RBs - 300+ flying about 10:15 Euclid Beach most of birds on east launch dock wall RBs - 75+ Herring Gulls - 2 12:05 - 12:45 @ Conneaut Sand Spit Sanderlings - 6 (4 at start of breakwall beach - 2 @ lagoon) Avocets - 2 Great Blue Heron - 1 RBs - 150-ish Herring - 15-ish Caspian Terns - 2 Forster's Tern - 1 American Golden Plover - 1 Dunlin - 2 Black-headed Gull - 1 Turkey Vultures - 4 Merlin - 1 (at hill when leaving) (thanks to Jerry + Suzanne again!) buster ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
