Hi all,

The next Python workshop will be on this Thursday (4/24) at 8pm in BEN 002. We will be going over how to make an actual Python program with classes, functions, and OO-design principles. You should have a basic understand of how to use at least on text editor on Linux (Vi, Emacs, Ed, or Nano). If you don’t know any of these, using the Emacs GUI is fairly straightforward and you can probably figure it out on the fly.

Obviously, there will be pizza.

Also, there will be a student/faculty dinner next week (paid for by the department) somewhere uptown. I need to know who is interested in this and what times you are available. Please fill out the following survey so that I know when is best for everyone. Also, let me know what restaurants you would like.

Thanks
