Thanks for showing interest in joining ACM! As you were likely told when you signed up, we do many workshops on developing your technical skills as well as provide networking opportunities to various companies for internships and full time positions. 

This week, we will not be having a meeting, instead we will be having a networking event with Progressive Insurance. Progressive is an awesome company to work for (I interned there during summer 2013) and provides a great opportunity to build yourself as a developer. When I worked there I developed entirely new software for them as well as working on actual production code. They also have a great social atmosphere within the workplace. I went to happy hours with my team almost every week and it was one of the highlights of the summer.

Progressive will be having their pre-Career Fair night tomorrow at 6pm in BEN 009. They will be providing pizza and we will be playing some games. Winners of the games will win some prize. I have not been told what the prize is, but last year it was a Google Nexus 7. 

If you red this sometime today, I would appreciate it if you send me a quick reply ( ME [log in to unmask] - NOT the listserv ) so that we can get a better idea of how much pizza to order. If you don’t get a chance to reply, still feel free to come down!
