Thanks for this tutorial. However, I don't know how to obtain coordinates for a given address or location. I have seen lots of posts on Ohio Birds indicating named locations that only people who have been there know about. I would love to see coordinates posted for them so that I can paste them into Google maps and see exactly where to go instead of just driving around looking and being frustrated at not finding the site. Is there an iPhone app that will give you coordinates for your location?

Tim

Subject: [Ohio-birds] Coordinates-to-address tutorial

Hello there! I figured some folks might appreciate a brief tutorial on how to convert coordinates to a street address. I whipped one up and posted it on my blog. You can find it here: http://loveandbirding.wordpress.com/2015/01/08/a-brief-technological-aside/

Thanks for all the great birdy news, everyone!

Lauren
