This week I've been lucky to see bald eagles every day at my lunchtime birding forays. I've seen both an adult and a sub-adult at Kiwanis Riverway Park which are still free of ice. Today I saw both from Thaddeus Kosciuszko park, soaring high above the river. I haven't seen them in awhile, so I'm wondering if ice on the reservoir has changed their normal patterns. Other interesting birds present at the park today were Eastern Bluebirds, several Yellow-rumped Warblers, a Pileated Woodpecker, and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. Many were perching in small clearings to catch some warmth from the sun. http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S21253377 ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
