This morning (10:00am) while birding the north end of LaDue Reservoir (the
pull-out closest to the dam on Valley Road) I watched a single swallow
working over the water on the east side of the reservoir. Even though I had
my spotting scope cranked up to 60x I could only make out that it was a dark
swallow - no details. However, it did NOT have a white belly. It was flying
north-to-south but I never saw it again as I continued south on Valley Road,
stopping twice more before 11:00am.

I wouldn't dare call it anything more than a swallow, but if it comes closer
to Valley Road someone else would be the lucky viewer of a rare swallow
(Cave). Good Luck.
