Well, we traveled over half the state looking for 4 lifers between us....came out with two. :-D As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Black-legged Kitiwake put on a good show for us this morning. Scanning the Listserv and Facebook posts, we decided to take the "long way" to Columbus to catch the Red-throated Loon, to follow up on reports of Ross and Snow Geese...zilch on all accounts. The Honda wetlands held just regular geese. But I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't at one of the other pond areas. The Scottslawn Ross's Goose was absent...along with all the other Geese...the whole area was void of waterfowl. The Red-throated Loon at Griggs Dam was a awesome end to the day. Best views were over at the boathouse though. Well, time for bed. :-D Happy Birding and God bless.
