Late this morning, I stopped by Willoughby Memorial Gardens on Lake Shore Blvd at the north end of Willoughby -- sits on the south side of Lake Shore, less than 1/4 mile from the shoreline of Lake Erie so I'm discovering it's a good migrant spot!
This morning there was a large flock of dark-eyed juncos - at least 75 -- harvesting seed in the lawns.  There were a couple dozen chipping sparrows mixed in with them and a few white-throated sparrows.  The trees had about 1/2 dozen yellow-rumped warblers and 3 or 4 ruby-crowned kinglets.
If you're driving through that area, might be worth stopping for a quick look!  Just head to the back of the cemetery!
