My feeders are finally up again, after a hiatus of weeks due to a visiting groundhog, and a neighbor's cat. The groundhog, whom I've named Fred, is about the size of my working Border Collie. Fred was OK under the woodpile, until he decided to dig a burrow at the front of the house by the foundation. A trapper has a cage set up for Fred's new adventure. I shot the neighbor's cat using a water pistol, and haven't seen it for awhile. It seemed like a good time to set the feeders back up. 3 Northern Cardinals2 Tufted Titmice2 Black-Capped Chickadees2 White-Breasted Nuthatches1 Blue Jay2 Dark-Eyed Juncos8 House Sparrows5 American Goldfinches Apparently I wasn't the only one missing the feeders!
