Greetings! Driving home here a few minutes ago, I had a Short-eared Owl flying around behind Big Island Wildlife Area (South of the Scioto River on LaRue-Greencamp Rd). I also had a few barks a couple of nights ago just to the west of LaRue. I was surprised really to even see one due to the high winds...must have been hungry. :-) Lots of Harrier action the past few days as well. Happy birding, and God bless, Steve J. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> ______________________________________________________________________ Ohio-birds mailing list, a service of the Ohio Ornithological Society.
