ROUTE: Towpath Trail from Red Lock Trailhead south to Merriman Valley.
TIME: 7:30am - 4:15pm  TEMP.: 26F ~ 50F ~ 48F
COND.: Cold and overcast early, becoming partly sunny and warming around
11:15am; turning cloudy from 1:30pm until end of hike;
Brandywine Pond and Dover Pond frozen with skim-ice; Ira Beaver Marsh had
one open pocket of water at NW corner of pond.
TRAIL COND.: Ideal and frozen early, no snow cover; trail turning sloppy
and slick from 11:15am until end of hike.
RIVER COND.: Slightly above normal.
