Hi everyone, Another afternoon walk in Lake View Cemetery, in light snow! We failed to see some of what we expected—Phoebe, Kingbirds. And we saw not a single duck! But the migration seems to be picking up. The Nature Walk was particularly good. We had: Canada Goose 18 Chimney Swift 1 Solitary Sandpiper 1 Great Blue Heron 2 (Flying over Mayfield Rd. as we left the cemetery) Red-bellied Woodpecker 2 Northern Flicker 3 Blue Jay 2 Black-capped Chickadee 3 Northern Rough-winged Swallow 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglet 6 Brown Creeper 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 3 European Starling 6 Gray Catbird 1 Hermit Thrush 1 Wood Thrush 1 American Robin 20 Chipping Sparrow 3 Common Grackle 4 Black-and-white Warbler 2 Black-throated Green Warbler 2 Northern Cardinal 4 Stay safe!
