While hiking around the Scenic River Trail and the Big Meadow area this morning, we found a singing male Blue grosbeak. It seemed to spend most of its time around the north and east edges of the Big Meadow, but could probably be anywhere there, and even around the sheep pasture across Powell Rd to the north. In the same area we also had a calling Yellow-br.Chat, as well as singing Yellow-throated & Parula Warblers along the Scenic River Trail.
