COVERAGE:  Main lake (south observation point, and north view point) and 1/2 mile along Green Trail to Stillwater River

Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus)  1     Several passes at the north end, which sent all the Killdeers into the air.  Many ended up on the very edge of the lake under willows and other bushes, and quite a few settled on the mudflats lying down, and almost completely camouflaged.  The Peregrine caught something and carried it up to a tree out of sight.
