The Eared Grebe was still seen at LaDue Reservoir on Friday.Spotted near the dam then worked its way south along the western shore. Was close to the first pull off along the road north of the boathouse. Dove a lot and eventually swam out into the center of the reservoir around 1:15 p.m.
Other birds seen near the boathouse were large flock of Pine Siskin and Cedar Waxwings on the mud flats in the inlet next to the boathouse. Bonaparte Gulls, American Coots, Buffleheads, Ruddy Ducks, two Belted Kingfishers putting on a territorial display, Horned Grebes.
