Sorry, this was supposed to be posted yesterday, but bounced back.  Looking for open water yesterday, I made several stops along the Scioto River in Dublin, starting at Kiwanis and working upstream through Donegal Cliffs and Amberleigh Park to the Dam.  Water was open and filled with Canada Geese at most stops.  Kiwanis had several Goldeneye as well as Hooded Mergs and Mallards.  Hoodies were at all the stops, but in low number, and the area below the dam had 3 Redheads as well.  Ducks weren't the only treat - roosts of Great Blue Herons were at Amberleigh (7) and below the dam (8), and Amberleigh also had 2 juvenile Bald Eagles. and a Red-shouldered Hawk.
