While killjng time waiting for Walgreens to fill an Rx we drove around
Fairmount Memorial Cemetery. Saw some robins, juncos and a bunch of
starlings. Also saw a grackle in the starling mashup. Then a couple
grackles in with a group of Robins. First grackles of the season.

Rev. Beth A. McGuire (she/her)

When day comes we step out of the shade,
aflame and unafraid
The new dawn blooms as we free it
For there is always light,
if only we're brave enough to see it
If only we're brave enough to be it

— from The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman, Youth Poet Laureate at
Presidential Innauguration, 1-20-21
