I cut my walk short this morning as it looked like it was about to start pouring but it has just drizzled so far since I've returned...oh well.
Nothing unusual & fairly quiet. I skipped the loop where I most often have both KY and Hooded warblers so I didn't hear or see them today.
Mostly heard birds.

I see a few Chimney Swifts most evenings near the bike path in Granville. Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, both male & female, are at my feeders regularly. I occasionally see a female Ruby-throated HB at my feeder. Like last year, I suspect she is nesting in my neighbor's yard. A Great-crested FC & Peewee call most days. The resident Red-Shouldereds sound off periodically esp if the crows are harassing them.
