In response to request for Colorado birding, I recommend you checkout the Colorado Field Ornithologists website. Their annual May conference with field trips was a highlight when I visited there. Their website has a lot of useful info for visitors.

My wife and I are getting away to Colorado Rockies and Estes Park June 12th
and while I've been looking at eBird for spots I'm wondering if anyone on
this list has some spots to recommend or good contacts?

Ted, not far from Estes, to the east, is the town of Lyons. The road
running south on the west end of town can be a very good spot. Last summer
we had some good sightings walking around Sprague Lake, in the national
park, not very far from Estes—some good birds and moose . Beyond Sprague
Lake is Bear Lake. We've had some good passerines there. But, they are very
popular areas. You should go as early as possible--both for the birds and
for the parking. We don't mind the people, but if you want solitude, these
are places to skip.

If you can get to Boulder County, there are some very good lakes for
waterfowl. The Walden Lake complex there has been good for us--and if you
walk all the way around the water treatment plant, we have always had
dippers in the creek there.

Once we were on the ground, we found ebird very helpful.

I hope this is a little helpful!

Best wishes,

Steve
