Hello Everyone:

Only two weeks until the start of CHAGRIN RIVER BIRD QUEST in NE Ohio.  This 24-hour birding challenge within the Chagrin River Corridor IBA is a family-friendly activity that is also open to ‘Listers’ and ‘Chasers’ (I am a shameless Lister!). The goal is to find as many species as possible from 4pm September 8^th until 4pm September 9^th, then meet at The West Woods Nature Center in Russell Township (Geauga County) to celebrate with food, fellowship and prizes.  There is NO CHARGE for this event, but you must register to be eligible for a free T-shirt (for each team member) and prizes at the celebration.

We do ask that you restrict your birding to the Chagrin River Corridor IBA, and we provide a list of over 35 publicly accessible locations to visit in Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga and Portage Counties. Use of eBird is also encouraged.
