I had a pleasant afternoon at Killdeer Plains yesterday. There was cloud cover initially but then it was a beautiful late afternoon. Although it wasn't super birdy, I picked up a few new birds for the year & thoroughly enjoyed listening to the Tundra (& Trumpeter) Swans. Canada Geese already nesting.
