Usually, if a message is posted to both groups at the same time, this will
happen.  I didn't do this though.  I followed up to the message in
mu.mcis.question and then crossposted it afterward.  Therefore, no link was
created between the 2 messages.  If I had instead issued the
FOLLOWUP/NEWSGROUP command and then added the other newsgroup, then a link
would have been created between the 2 messages.  I purposely didn't do
this, though, because I didn't want followups to the message in mu.vms to
be reflected back into mu.mcis.questions.
