Try contacting Boston Univ. School of Hospitality Administration... for a long time they offered a class on Wines & Spirits (Prof. Ed Kelly) with a lot of historical content... BU also offered a class entitled "Alcohol in History" - it always closed out the first day of registration. Try contacting the BU College of Liberal Arts to get the Prof's name & number...
