Composition Chronicle Headlines
the Comeback of Grammar

The lead article in the October issue of
Composition Chronicle is "Grammar making a
comeback in composition teaching." In it, Bill
McCleary presents a good summary of the current
status of grammar in the profession. He follows the
article with an annotated "List of Pedagogical
Grammars," a good introduction to much of the
non-mainstream material that is available.
[Subscriptions to Composition Chronicle are $27
per year (9 issues), payable to Viceroy
Publications, 3247 Bronson Hill Road, Livonia, NY
