The initialization string attempts to change your terminal into a VT200
with 7-bit control codes. We've only seen the problem on this one emulator
(it's a brand new terminal emulator). The error in the initialization
string causes the emulator to revert back to it's default state (VT200 with
8-bit control codes). This causes problems with VT200 extended keys (Find,
Select, Prev, Next, etc. and function keys).
