Reinhold, nope I have't watched the discussions on the NCTE list,
but it's not hard to imagine given the knee-jerk reactions to
grammar I see at every NCTE & CCCC conference, although I must
admit that the last CCCC conference I went to (2 years ago)
gave more attention & interest in grammar instruction than
I've seen in years.
