Don, I hope that the Business Ethics Section does have a mid-year meeting and will try to make it this year. Chicago is fine with me, but so is New Orleans where SWAFAD is being held this spring. If New Orleans, the decision may need to be made pretty quickly since that is such a large meeting and I believe deadline for papers for Southern has passed. As to scholars in residence, all the people you mention are very good, but I would suggest that we don't have to wander too far afield these days----ALSB is "growing its' own" in the likes of Ed Conry and Caryn Beck Dudley. What a great combo! And Frank, on how you make San Francisco midwest. I suggest it is all in which syllable you emphasize. Have you Texas people forgotten your speech heritage. Try it this way---"mi-WEIGH-ES"---Hey, folks, after all it's Friday afternoon and I personally think I could handle Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City (whose most notable feature is the home of my oldest grandchild), San Francisco, but I do draw the line at Branson! Sorry, Carol---been there, done that. Have a good weekend you all!! Beth Williams
