Many thanks to those who responded via the list or privately concerning
their experiences with manual mobile shelving. With only a couple of
exceptions everyone indicated that manual systems had reliably served
their needs and had not been a source of employee injuries. Many
respondents also purposely selected manual over electric systems for a
variety of reasons including cost, safety, and reliability.
