Can someone give me a good, clear definitional distinction of "brewing" and how it is different from simple fermentation - particularly as it applies to labeling foods? For example, worcestershire sauce is "brewed". Does this mean that it is also fermented? Does it mean that it contains alcohol at some step in its production? Is there any real difference in saying beer is brewed, and coffee or tea is brewed? Thayne ------------------------------------------- Atheism is a non-prophet organization.
