Yes, Paul, there is a way.
You just have to set preferences in your mailing programme (like Entourage,
Outlook etc.), so that messages over XXX kb will not be transferred to your
computer. Since a long text-only e-mail is up to - let's say - 25/50 KB
(html/plain), set your mailer to transfer anything below 60 KB.
In case you miss something (like a .tiff) because it's too large, you can
always get just this message and switch back the filter on.
Or just use a Macintosh ;-)
