Hi Majors and Pre-majors, you recently received a couple of names of parents seeking help for their children in the form of tutoring. I have another one to add to the list:
Eli - 11 years old
In 6th grade at Talawanda.
Possible specific learning disability in written language, manifesting itself in getting things down correctly for spelling and math - test scores in these areas are good but low in comparison to his very high average IQ.
Eli enjoys analyzing things, likes one on one relationships, loves to skateboard, not a big group type of guy.
Would be open to working with a "cool college kid", esp. a guy, but open to gals too.
Any takers? Please let me know! I think this could be once or twice a week for an hour or so.....
