I headed up to Killdeer Plains this afternoon, and found 4 LONG-EARED OWLS
in the "secondary" pine grove located off of TH-108.
Around sunset I was at the Longbrake Wetlands where I watched no fewer than
13 SHORT-EARED OWLS cruising around.
