The members of the Darke County Birders who attended the conference had a great time. We met many great people and renewed old acquaintances. My favorite sighting and sounding was being able to hear a Vesper Sparrow and Savannah sparrow and having the songs confirmed. Now I can use that knowledge when I survey for the OBBAII.
Didn't get a life bird, although Bill Thompson did promise a Connecticut warbler. Oh, well, sometime in the next 30 years.
There is such a diversity of habitats in the Mohican area. A great place to bird.
Thanks to everyone who volunteered and planned this great weekend.
