Our annual outing in search of WOODCOCK at the Wilderness Center was sucessful as usual last nite in Wilmot , Oh.
There were at least 3 males. very vocal in their "peenting: Several nuptial flights plus several birds on the edges, barely visible in the dwindling light = about 7:45.One of our young female students was overjoyed to add the birds to her growing lifelist. Some of our people were also able to hear a Barred Owl calling from the deep woods.
