The nasty weather dropped a bunch of cool birds into our Lakewood
neighborhood (7 miles West of Cleveland, about 200 yards South of Lake
Erie).
Feeder birds included: Purple finch (male), Common redpoll, Song and White-
throated sparrows, and lots of American goldfinch and Dark-eyed juncoes;
Neighbor's crabapple tree hosted a flock of Cedar waxwings and Red-
breasted nuthatches (2);
Flyover Bald eagle.
Remember: Bad weather = Good birds.
