A 1:00 school dismissal allowed me to reach 25 yard birds. Our screech owl awoke early and was greeted by a mob of juncos and cardinals. Sadly missing from today's list was a brown creeper, blue jay, red-tailed hawk, and yesterday's purple finch. Maybe next year's blizzard will yield 30.
