Hey ALAS!!!
This is your President and member of Sigma Lambda Gamma, Michelle, asking you to support Miami's first and only Latina-based Multi-cultural sorority this week like we've supported you! It's Sigma Lambda Gamma Week and these events are open to the public so bring a friend!
Here are the events (also listed in the attachment):
Sunday: Visit us at our table in AISEC's Global Village in the Uptown Park from 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Monday: Interested in learning more about Miami’s first and only Latina-based multi-cultural Sorority? Come meet us at 6:00pm in our suite (147 Richard Hall).
Tuesday: News Flash! Join us, at 7:00pm in the CBCL (basement of Kreger hall), as we discuss topics like: the elections, Cuba, 2008 Olympics, and more. This is your chance to gain more knowledge!
Wednesday: Help us support our Couzins from the Illustrious Xi Rho Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. as they present, Sista Souljah, the author of the best-selling novel, “The Coldest Winter Ever”. This event will be held in the Heritage Room of Shriver at 7:00pm. Also join us at 7:30pm in the MPR of Shriver for the Diversity Affairs Council meeting featuring President Hodge!
Thursday: Join us as we learn the ins and outs of basic car problems with the MU Police outside King Library (by King Café) at 7:00pm.
Friday: Take Back the Night! We are leaving Oxford (meet us at the Shriver circle at 6:00pm) and going to Cincinnati to participate in this event that supports women who are victims of rape. We should return at approximately 9:45pm.
