Greetings GSCA Members:
This forward includes information on the Bicentennial Charter Day Ball. We encourage you all to attend this wonderful event. Tickets have already gone on sale and may sell out early considering the popularity of this event. We want to make sure that the GSCA is well represented at the ball and we are planning to meet up as a group to attend this event, including any guests you may want to bring. We hope you all join our "entourage" for the Bicentennial Charter Day Ball and you will hear more about our plans to attend this ball as the event nears. Be sure to get you tickets early if you don't want to miss this opportunity to socialize with current members, friends, alumni, and celebrities of the Miami community.

MIAMI UNIVERSITY
Bicentennial Charter Day Ball
Miami University’s Bicentennial Charter Day Ball will be held on February 21, 2009. The ball commemorates the signing of our charter 200 years ago, when Miami was officially established as a university. We cordially invite you to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event.
The ball, held at Millett Hall, is a black-tie formal event with music, dancing, and refreshments. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Miami University Box Office in the Shriver Center or online at www.hdg.muohio.edu/BoxOffice/ at the cost of $35 for students and $50 for non-students. Since there are a limited number of tickets, we encourage you to purchase yours today—you won’t want to miss your chance to experience this incredible event.
The Bicentennial Charter Day Ball will celebrate not only Miami’s rich history, but also the lasting partnership between the City of Oxford and the university. We truly hope you will help us honor this relationship by attending the ball.
Please note that tuxedo rentals and complimentary ballroom dancing lessons will be available before the ball.
