I spent today in the company of a group of friends all of which have
conservation of habitat and its flora and fauna in common. The area we walked
through contains unspoiled forest and wetland and is located on private
property in Delaware County. Along with the good variety of birds the area also
is home to an extraordinary variety of wild flowers including some very
uncommon species of orchids, salamanders and stately large, old trees. The
owner of the property has been an extraordinary steward of this land.

Wood Duck
Red-shouldered Hawk
Wild Turkey
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Red-headed Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Pileated Woodpecker
Eastern Wood Pewee
