Sure is cold but it is really looking good out there. Starting to have whitecrowned and white throated sparrows around my feeder and today a Rufus Sided Towhee showed up .. I sure love those. Beautiful bird. Also a brown creeper and lots of kinglets out back, both ruby crowned and golden crowned. Went to Grand Lake St Mary's yesterday and in the upper ponds was a lot of shorebird action. I am not very good on IDing them yet but for sure was some lesser yellowlegs , greater yellow leg, least sandpipers, a fall Wilson's Phalarope, dunlins, and other sandpipers I am still workin' on IDing from my pictures I took . Great time of year except for the cold . Russell Lima, Ohio
