Subject: Student Org Presidents - MGT 291 Survey

Please forward this survey to members of various student organizations. MGT 291 is using Miami's student organizations in an experiment to determine how leadership and management are developed through the college experience. Fortunately, Miami is a highly involved student body and would provide a great sample for us.

We are doing the research project in our MGT 291 class and would appreciate it if you would take our survey. We are aware many of you have been bombarded with these surveys recently so we have tried to make ours as quick and painless as possible. We are examining the difference between leadership and management, and how this difference plays out in extracurricular involvement here on campus. You only need to have one organization in mind, even if you are a member of many. Thank you for taking out time to help us help the organization(s) that you are passionate about.

Disclaimer:
This survey is completely voluntary and anonymous. Since it is completely voluntary, feel free to stop at any time, skip questions or submit a blank document. Also understand that many precautions are being taken to keep your identity anonymous but because it is an Internet based survey, there is a chance of someone hacking into it and seeing your results. That is a slim possibility but something to be considered. Furthermore, the survey should only take about fifteen minutes and the IP addresses will not be collected once submitted. If the survey is done in class, the collection of the surveys will be done by the professor and then given to us after class in order to keep the surveys anonymous. Only the answers to the questions are relevant to our study and your identity will always remain unknown.
