A little after noon today, near Carey (east of Findlay) there were about 45
Sandhill Cranes coming in to land in a field just north of highway 15.

At 11:50am Friday morning, I counted a flock of 165 Sandhill Cranes. I was
in the parking lot of Oakwoods Nature Preserve, which is immediately SW of
Findlay, which itself is in the middle of Hancock County.
The birds were flying in 2 "V's" of roughly equal size. They were about 100
feet up and flying in a SSE direction.
