A delayed meeting in West Chester allowed for a few more hours of feeder
monitoring this morning.Species included:
9 Cardinals
12 American Tree Sparrows
3 Song Sparrows
15 Dark Eyed Juncoes
2 Blue Jays
5 Tufted Titmice
5 White Breasted Nuthatches
18 Mourning Doves
13 House Finches
22 House Sparrows
5 Downy Woodpeckers
1 Northern Flicker
2 Red Bellied Woodpeckers
4 Gold Finches
117 Brown Headed Cowbirds
Best Species is a hard one,but it goes to Blue Jays,also
have never had so many cowbirds,117 is a record for me
