I drive along the park road just north of Griggs Dam in Columbus every
morning drinking my coffee. For the first time the Scioto river was clear
of all ice and the ducks are back! Several groups must have come in over
night. Widgeon, ring necked; ruddy; bufflehead; hoodies; and greater
scaup.. The migration is on!
