Migrating birds that is . What a way to end the evening setting here listening to the Grey Catbird run thru his calls as the sun goes down. This morning started out with a Myrtle Warbler at the head of the path. Then a house wren and then our first Rose Breasted Grosbeak. What a singer he was. Then a Palm Warbler landed close by. Had a Rufous Sided Towhee calling and working a brush pile. Other birds on site were Red Bellied WP , Yellowshafted Flicker , both nesting here. Brown Thrashers, 5 pair of Tree Swallows, 2 pair of bluebirds and all the other usuals .. lots of Bluejays. Can't wait till the morning. Russell Lima, Ohio Allen Co. at a place I call "This Place is for the Birds" my 5 acres.
