Hi all,
Thought this might be of interest to birders in Athens county. Made a trip
to Strouds run state park this evening. Of particular interest were at least
3 singing male Cerulean warblers. I got a fair look at one, others were in
the woods. Other warblers and interesting birds were as follows -:
Ovenbird (a lifer for me)
Northern Parula
Yellow throated warbler
Yellow warbler
American Redstart (both male and female)
Wood Thrush (several)
Scarlet Tanager
Pileated woodpecker
Eastern bluebird
Overall a good birding day!!
Regards,
Archan.
