Granger Avenue, Lakewood
Observer: Paula Lozano
The strident calls of blue jays, robins and cardinals lured me outside to try to locate the cause. I was hoping for an owl, but it was a crow in a neighbor's tree. Other birds seen tonight from our back porch were:
Common nighthawk - 3; flight direction S to N
Chimney swift - 6
Eastern wood-pewee - 1
Red-eyed vireo - 1
Swainson's thrush - 2
Gray catbird - 1 (heard in lilac)
