Friday, June 18 - Species seen at the "Water tower" field and fences by the
Dayton "International" Airport at Old Springfield Rd. and Peters Pike:
Dickcissel
Grasshopper sparrow
Spotted sandpiper w/young
Killdeer w/young
Eastern meadowlark
Song sparrow
Red-tailed hawk
And a lot of the "usual" stuff
Home news: After successfully raising a brood of 3 carolina chickadees in
our patio birdhouse, we now have a growing family of house wrens in it.
Prime real estate !
