Perri O'Shaughnessy in Dreams of the Dead has the sentence, "She was a
king-hell high-school date...." in describing a mother with children.
I normally pickup on slang expressions--even on those from NV; however, I
have never heard--or read--such an expression. I chose to ask on-line
before I contacted the author. My much-younger well-read wife is equally
puzzled.
